Auditions for Frozen, Jr.

Nov. 24 | 6 p.m.
MCT Rehearsal Building
430 McNabb Rd, Marshfield, MO

We will begin at 6 p.m. and sing the vocal audition selection together. We will then have each auditioner sing the selection one at a time. You will be dismissed after you are done singing! You will NOT need to wait for everyone to finish. There will be NO dancing at auditions.

We’ll guide you through the entire audition process when you get here…it’s sure to be a blast!

Please come prepared to list ALL conflicts for the months of December – March, including church activities, school events, family vacations, etc.

Frozen Jr. will be directed and choreographed by Carolyn Billingsley, assistant directed by Kim Barlow, and music directed by Clay Barnard.

Callback information

Callbacks will be held on Monday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. If you receive a callback, your name will appear on a list posted on our website and Facebook page. If you are not called back, it does NOT mean your name will not appear on the cast list!

Rehearsal information

Our first cast meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Rehearsals with featured soloists will take place throughout December. Full cast rehearsals will begin Sunday, Jan. 5. Rehearsals will take place on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between the hours of 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. Most cast will not be called to rehearsal for every day and every hour of rehearsal time.

Ice Ensemble
A small ensemble of very strong dancers and vocalists. Through their movements, they physicalize Elsa’s emotions throughout the show.

Snow Chorus
The people of Arendelle. Made up of boys and girls of all ages, must be great storytellers.

Castle Staff
An older ensemble group, the only family known to Elsa and Anna after their parents pass away.

Hidden Folk
The trolls in the movie that take care of Kristoff and Sven. In this stage adaption, they will be portrayed as more human. 

Sprites
The Youngest of the Hidden Folk.

Oaken’s Family
A small, energetic ensemble made up of strong singers and dancers.


Synopsis

The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
