Join Marshfield Community Theatre for a magical weekend full of festive fun and heartwarming entertainment. Each evening, we will present a 30-minute one-act production of A Charlie Brown Christmas followed by a special event that makes every night unique. Bring the whole family and celebrate the holiday season with us!

The classic animated television special A Charlie Brown Christmas comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation in which Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang discover the true meaning of Christmas.

Marshfield Community Theatre is excited to bring back A Charlie Brown Christmas as part of our 2025 Holly Jolly Weekend…but this year our cast will be comprised of middle and high school age performers! The show will be directed by Toni Lorenz.
MCT will hold auditions for A Charlie Brown Christmas on Oct. 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. at the Jubilee Theater Center, located in Marshfield, MO at 109 Commercial Street. The show will run Dec. 11-14. If needed, there will be callbacks on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
This show contains a cast of 11 individuals. The audition will consist of cold readings from the show. All individuals must be 12-18 years old to audition for A Charlie Brown Christmas. Rehearsals will be limited to 3 nights a week until December 1, and then will be nightly through the run of the show, which is December 11-14. You must be available for tech week and all performances.

End the weekend with a festive flourish at our Holly Jolly Holiday Pageant! Young contestants from across the community will compete in various age categories for holiday-themed titles, showcasing their best looks and talents. More information on this event is coming soon, but it’s sure to be a charming and spirited end to a wonderful weekend.
