The spooky season is upon us, and what better way is there to kick it off than a littler murder and mayhem? While you’re working on your October fall event planning, be sure to include getting tickets to MCT’s production of You Have the Right to Remain Dead on the first weekend of October. Need some reasons to make the decision and buy your tickets? We got you covered.
Reason #1 – It’s going to be a fun night out
You Have the Right to Remain Dead is just fun. It’s full of twists, turns and Southern charm, where the characters are desperately trying to figure out who would kill one of their fellow actors in the middle of a show! With lots of zippy one liners and zany antics, this is a great night out for you and your family or friends. (We don’t recommend bringing the littles, but it’s family-friendly enough for older kids and teens!)
Reason #2 – You get to help sleuth out the murderer
Put on your detective hat and keep an eye out for any clues. During the second act, there will be a chance for you to ask the characters questions as you try to figure out whodunnit! We’ll be providing notepads and pens for you to keep track of your clues and determine who would commit murder on stage.
Reason #3 – A chance to win
We will have buckets for you to guess who the murderer is toward the end of the show. If you guess correctly, you’ll have the chance to win a fun prize basket and bragging rights to your friends. Plus, there will be a raffle every night to win a separate basket of goodies and souvenirs from the show!
Reason #4 – Yummy snacks
The show has strong Southern themes, so our concessions stand is ready to meet your Southern snack needs, complete with things like sweet tea and pie by the slice. You’ll also have the chance to grab a hand fan from our boutique in case things started heating up during the investigation.
Reason #5 – Supporting your Theatre with Heart
The most important reason to come see You Have the Right to Remain Dead is to support your Theatre with Heart. As a fully not-for-profit organization, your ticket sales help support future MCT productions and events. So, snag your tickets and know you’re helping make a difference and supporting our mission of providing a creative outlet for the performing arts within our community.
