Did you know that it can cost up to $2,000 to print our full playbill booklets for our productions? Or that our summer musicals can cost thousands of dollars to produce? (Just look at The Addams Family, which had over $11,000 in expenses throughout its run.)
As a not-for-profit community theatre in Marshfield, Missouri, that means we rely heavily on the support of our community to produce our shows. And that means there’s an opportunity for you as a local business owner to make a difference and help support our mission of providing a creative outlet for the performing arts in our community by becoming a sponsor for our 2023 season. For us, sponsorships are more than just a business giving us money. They’re opportunities for us to partner with other businesses in the area to help each other grow and support our community overall.
Why should my business become a 2023 sponsor?
1 – MCT is proven to be a community mainstay
We’ve produced over 60 shows in our 19 years as an organization, showing that people within our community continue wanting to see our productions. As we head into our 20th season in 2023, we’re proving that we as an organization are here to stay. And, throughout these nearly 20 years, we’ve had numerous businesses as sponsors, who are getting their names out and in front our audiences. We’ve had multiple sponsors tell us that customers will come in saying, “I saw your business in that recent MCT show, so I wanted to check it out.” So, by sponsoring with us, there’s a high chance you’ll see a strong return on your money spent.
2 – Get your business seen by our patrons
MCT has anywhere between 2,000-3,000 patrons each season from all across the Ozarks, including Marshfield, Strafford, Rogersville, Springfield, Ozark, Nixa, Lebanon and even Branson. That means your business has the chance to reach brand-new audiences from all over. If there’s even a chance that one person could see your business’ name and think “I want to check that out,” then it’s worth it. Not only for their business, but for the potential of them spreading the word about you to their networks beyond your local community.
3 – We have a growing social media following
New to the 2023 sponsorship packages, all Gold and Silver-level sponsors will get regular shout-outs on our social media pages. And, with over 2,000 followers across all of our platforms, that means more people seeing your business beyond those within our shows.
4 – Pricing options that scale to your business needs, without losing value
Even at our lowest Bronze sponsorship option, your business gets a mention in each playbill for the entire season and featured promotion in our lobby at each show. So, you’re getting seen every, single show. That means, whether you’re spending $250 or $1,000, you’re getting your money’s worth while helping support your Theatre with Heart.
5 – We have payment plan options
So, you’re looking at the sponsorship options and you really want that $1,000 package, but you’re not sure if you can drop the money all at once. We understand. You’ve spent a lot of time building up your business and want to protect it. That’s why we offer payment plan options to where you can promote your business through MCT how you want to, without breaking the bank on the business of your dreams. If you’re interested in setting up a payment plan, just email marketing@marshfieldtheatre.org to talk through your options.

From our Marketing Director
“In 2023, we’re excited to announce that we are entering our 20th season as an organization. For us, this means everything. Not many small businesses, not-for-profits or community theatres can say they’ve made it to this point, and we wouldn’t be here without the support of our amazing community and the organizations who have supported us in previous seasons.
It’s this spirit of community that keeps our organization going, and this support also keeps the fine and performing arts an integral part of our lives.
So, as a not-for-profit community organization, we need support from businesses like yours. Your support means more opportunities to entertain, educate and enrich our community through the performing arts. You have the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our community by allowing us to take audiences away from the stresses of life for just one night at our shows. This is your chance.”
