A Sparkling Holiday Celebration for All Ages

December 7 & 15

Celebrate the season and showcase your holiday spirit at Marshfield Community Theatre’s Mister & Miss Christmas Pageant! With five age divisions, this festive pageant gives young participants the chance to shine on stage, with winners crowned in each category. Featuring holiday-themed outfits, stage presence, and talents, this event brings joy, community spirit, and a little friendly competition to the Holly Jolly Holiday Weekend.

Age Divisions & Judging Criteria

Each division is specially tailored to highlight the unique spirit and abilities of each age group.

Birth-2 Years | “Mini Marshmallows”
- Judging: Outfit only
- Entry Fee: $10
Ages 3-5 | “Little Miss Snowflake & Little Mr. Snowman”
- Judging: Outfit, stage presence, and interview
- Entry Fee: $10
Ages 6-10 | “Little Miss Holly & Little Mr. Jolly”
- Judging: Outfit, stage presence, and a 1-2 minute talent performance
- Entry Fee: $10
Ages 11-13 | “Christmas Princess”
- Judging: Outfit, stage presence, 1-2 minute talent, and a brief interview on “What Christmas Means to Me”
- Entry Fee: $10
Ages 14-18 | “Christmas Queen”
- Judging: Outfit, stage presence, 1-2 minute talent, and a short essay on “What Christmas Means to Me” (submitted at the time of competition)
- Entry Fee: $10

Pageant Timeline

Princess & Queen Competitions | Saturday, December 7
Join us downtown for a full day of holiday festivities as the Christmas Princess and Christmas Queen participants compete for their titles.

2:00 PM – Christmas Princess & Queen competitions
5:00 PM – Annual Christmas Parade

Main Event | Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 PM
Following the performance of A Charlie Brown Christmas
The younger divisions will take the stage just before the final performance of A Charlie Brown Christmas. This special afternoon will be a celebration of talent, spirit, and the joy of the season.

Parade Participation

Catch our Christmas Princess & Queen, along with younger pageant participants, on the Holly Jolly float in Marshfield’s Christmas Parade on December 7! Joining them will be the cast of A Charlie Brown Christmas in full costume, spreading holiday cheer along the parade route.

Prizes

Winners in each division will receive holiday-themed prizes and titles. Each crowned titleholder will hold the honor of representing the community’s holiday spirit throughout the Holly Jolly Weekend and beyond!
