MARSHFIELD, MO — Marshfield Community Theatre (MCT) is proud to bring big laughs to the stage with Greater Tuna, performing for one weekend only at the Jubilee Theater Center. Featuring MCT mainstays David DePriest and Patrick Schuster, this quick-witted comedy classic takes audiences on a whirlwind tour of Tuna, Texas — the “third-smallest town” in the state — brought to life by just two actors portraying more than 20 colorful characters.
With lightning-fast costume changes, outrageous personalities, and a satirical look at small-town life, Greater Tuna promises an evening of non-stop laughter. DePriest and Schuster, both familiar faces to MCT audiences and longtime contributors to the Springfield-area theatre community, showcase their comedic talents and versatility in this fast, funny, and heart-filled production.
Greater Tuna is one of those shows that’s pure fun for the performers and the audience. Seeing DePriest and Schuster switch between dozens of characters is a comedy event audiences won’t want to miss.
