What Are the Performance Troupes?
MCT’s Performance Troupes are an incredible opportunity for performers of all ages and experience levels to dive into the world of musical theatre. As ambassadors for Marshfield Community Theatre and its Education Department, our troupers perform at various community events, showcasing their talents and representing the heart of MCT.
Whether you’re new to theatre or a seasoned performer, our troupes offer a safe, welcoming environment to learn and grow. You’ll receive hands-on training in acting, singing, and dancing, with opportunities to perform in exciting events throughout the year.

Spring Troupe Auditions
MCT is announcing auditions for the spring semester of our Performance Troupes! We are looking for dedicated performers, those who are excited to learn and strive for greatness in the performing arts. Our hope is that the students will grow in confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
Auditions are held twice a year and the group remains together for the entirety of each session. Our Performance Troupers will be performing at different events around our community and serve as ambassadors for Marshfield Community Theatre and its Education Department.
The Spring Semester will run from February-July 2025.
WHO:
Elementary Troupe: 1st-5th grade students belonging to any Missouri school district, including homeschoolers.
Middle School Troupe: 6th-8th grade students belonging to any Missouri school district, including homeschoolers.
High School Troupe: 9th-12th grade students belonging to any Missouri school district, including homeschoolers.
Adult Troupe: Anyone age 18 and up wanting to learn and perform with MCT.
WHERE/WHEN:
Auditions for High School and Adult Troupes will be Jan. 19 at 4 PM at the Jubilee Theater Center.
Auditions for Elementary and Middle School Troupes will be Jan. 20 at 4 PM at the Jubilee Theater Center.
WHAT TO PREPARE: Auditioners are asked to prepare the following:
A 32 bar/ ~1 minute vocal selection in the style of musical theatre. Please provide backing tracks. Dress comfortably as auditioners may be taught a brief dance combination.
REHEARSALS:
Elementary Troupe will rehearse Thursdays from 5-6 PM.
Middle School Troupe will rehearse Mondays from 5-6 PM.
High School Troupe will rehearse the second Saturday of each month from 1-3 PM.
Adult Troupe will rehearse the second Saturday of each month from 10 AM-12 PM.
