Become an advocate for the arts this
Giving Tuesday
The season of giving is here, and we want you to build in space in your budget to support your Theatre with Heart.
As Marshfield Community Theatre is growing, we are ready to become a full-fledged advocate for all of the arts in our community, not just the performing arts.
That’s why we’re asking for your help in raising $4,000 to purchase one starter media kit to help foster the love of photography, filmmaking and content creation within our community.
This money will go directly toward:
- One DSLR camera to use for photography and video creation
- 2 camera lenses for varying use in content creation
- 1 camera tripod
- 1 secure backpack to help travel for content creation
Now, this is just a start toward us providing opportunities for those interested in these fields. But, we want to set this foundation to help us grow, bring in diverse perspectives and faces and provide one additional outlet for people to express their creativity.
So, keep us in mind for your Giving Tuesday plans this year. If you don’t want to wait, you can donate anytime between now and Nov. 29 using the form below.
Why become an advocate for the arts?

The arts encompass so much of our daily lives, from the books we read at night under the covers to the music we jam to in our cars to the viral cat videos we scroll through on TikTok (yes, that’s art!). Art is a universal language that we can use to communicate with others around the world. Art can invoke shared experiences and help us learn new things about ourselves and others.
If you need more convincing, here are some first-hand testimonies from people who have been involved in some media and film work at MCT recently.
