My name is Sierra Smith, I am 15 years old, and I am a sophomore at Strafford High School. I have been involved with MCT for 12 years, and I’ve had a passion for theater since I was a little girl. Ever since I was little, I loved watching “the big kids” sing and dance and have so much fun on stage. I’ve been in several MCT education classes, and have learned so much with the help of my teachers. If it weren’t for MCT I wouldn’t be where I am now.
As of right now, I am the student board member at MCT, this means I get to help with the decisions of shows, and help share MCT with everyone. I have been a part of 8 MCT shows and have helped with many others. I have been a helper with the Broadway Babies class and I helped with the camps this summer. I try to do all I can to help with MCT since they have done so much for me.
I am so excited for this blog to start because I know that this will help kids find their voice. This also gives everyone a chance to see how others’ experiences have been at MCT. I can’t wait to see what our kids have to say, and for everyone else to hear it.

Sierra is a 3rd generation MCT participant and volunteer. It’s wonderful to see the next generation rising up and taking on leadership roles! So proud of this kid!
Your whole family is an MCT legacy, and you carry the torch like a champ! Thank you for all your hard work on behalf of MCT and your peers. You make the world a better place. 😉
