Press Release: MCT Celebrates 20th Season Award Show and unveils 21st season line up

Marshfield, MO, Jan. 21, 2024 – Marshfield Community Theatre (MCT) proudly announces the winners of its 20th Season Award Show, a celebration of the 2023 season of outstanding theatrical productions. The event, held on on Jan. 21, 2024, showcased the remarkable achievements of the casts, crews, and production teams that contributed to the success of MCT throughout its 20th season in 2023.

  1. Heritage Award: Laura Vinehout received this prestigious award, honoring her dedication and pivotal role as a founding member who played a crucial part in establishing MCT during its early years.
  2. Favorite Community Supporter Award: Marshfield First Baptist Church was recognized for its unwavering support of MCT over the years, embodying the spirit of community and collaboration.
  3. Board’s Choice Award: Susie Smith was selected by the Board of Directors for her outstanding commitment to MCT throughout the 20th season, exemplifying dedication and passion.
  4. Shooting Star Award: Kelby Lorenz was voted on by the casts and crews of the 20th season, earning this award for going above and beyond to support MCT.
